The Cummins B3.3 engine brings toughness and reliability to every piece of equipment it powers, from tractors to irrigation pumps.  Its in-line 4-cylinder design has a compact footprint for easy installation.  With ratings from 60 hp (45kW) to 85 hp (63kW) Cummins in-cylinder solution meets Tier 3 and Stage IIIA emissions or Tier 4 Interim emissions below 75 hp (56kW) with both naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions that deliver strong performance.  Single-sided maintenance is just one of many standard features and options that let you customize your B3.3.

The B3.3 is built to last, with a cast-iron parent bore block designed for durability and reliability. Every element of the design adds value to the customer, including:

  • Direct injection for increased fuel efficiency, low heat rejection and quicker starts
  • A deep, stiff crankcase with structural ribs for lower noise and increased life
  • An isolated valve cover for reduced noise
  • Optional intake air heater for cold-weather starting
  • Low rotating inertia (30% less than industry average) for reduced vibration
  • Left- or right-side service options for easy maintenance
  • SAE "A" PTO mounting option with engine-mounted, gear-driven designs (Front-mounted crank PTO generates 100% torque for hydraulic applications)

Maintenance
Maintenance Intervals

Turbocharged B3.3 engines require an oil change at 350-hour/3-month intervals, while naturally aspirated models can go 500 hours or 6 months between oil changes.
