Accelera™ by Cummins, the zero-emissions business segment of Cummins Inc. [NYSE: CMI], is partnering with Tyczka Hydrogen GmbH, a leading European hydrogen specialist, to deploy a 5-megawatt (MW) proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer system at the Port of Schweinfurt in Bavaria, Germany. Powered by renewable solar and wind energy, the system will generate up to 2.2 tons of green hydrogen daily to support decarbonization across mobility, industrial and research sectors in central Germany.

Tom’s journey began 18.5 years ago when he was working for a small Cummins dealer. “I started doing minor work on Cummins engines and fell in love with the product,” he recalls. Berfu Alev and her "family" of female students in Izmir, Turkey, are changing perceptions of what it means to work in a technical career. Like others in Cummins’ TEC: Technical Education for Communities program, family has been a motivating factor in their success. “I think I can help other girls in the technical field,” said Alev, a student at Ege University. “I try to remove the stigmas and stereotypes associated with the ‘dirtiness’ of a technical career and highlight the state-of-the-art equipment that today’s professionals use.”
