Valvoline Inc. (NYSE: VVV) – a U.S.-based, leading worldwide supplier of premium branded lubricants and automotive services – and Cummins Inc. (NYSE: Cummins Inc.) – the world’s largest independent manufacturer of engines and related components with operations in over 190 countries and territories – announced today a five-year renewal of their longstanding marketing and technology partnership agreement. 

Cummins recognized this risk very early on with a campaign called, “It’s OK Mental Health and Wellness,” designed to promote mental wellness among its employees worldwide. This October, Cummins celebrates World Mental Health Day and the growing awareness of why mental wellness matters. The ’It’s OK’ campaign launched in April of 2020 in response to the pandemic, as a way to communicate to employees that this is a challenging time, and that the company has robust resources to support mental health and wellness.

Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI), a global power technology leader, will be launching a set of software features to integrate its powertrains with Automated Driving System (ADS) technologies. 

Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) announces that its Performance Series engines are being certified to meet Indian Bharat Stage IV and V as well as China Stage IV emission regulations for the off-highway market. These products already meet EU Stage V and EPA Tier 4 Final levels.

Challenge:  Digea required standby power for more than 45 digital television broadcast sites around the country, which was essential to keep the sheltered equipment running, and transmissions on-air, in the event of a grid failure.

The expansion will add 75 megawatts, enough to power approximately 20,000 average Indiana homes, to the existing 600 megawatt capacity at the Meadow Lake Wind Farm complex. When fully operational, the wind farm expansion will generate renewable electricity equivalent to the amount Cummins uses at its Indiana facilities.

Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) announced that it has opened a new Research and Development Center, which is approximately 25,000 square feet, adjacent to its manufacturing facility in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. These technologically-advanced labs and office spaces are part of a larger plan to build technical capability in remanufacturing and to create a campus experience in San Luis Potosi with many amenities, increased security and the ability to accommodate future growth.

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) has recognized Karen Ramsey-Idem of Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI) for her impact on the Society as well as the engineering community with the Global Leadership Award. Karen Ramsey-Idem will accept the award at SWE's annual conference, WE17, in Austin, Texas, on Oct. 27, 2017, during the formal awards banquet. The Global Leadership Award recognizes Karen Ramsey-Idem for her work in Cummins global technical organization where she serves as a role model to women engineers worldwide.
