He worked previously for the Indianapolis Star (2002-2008) and for the Des Moines Register (1997-2002) prior to that.

The Cummins locomotive recorded a 16 percent improvement in fuel economy compared to the engine it replaced, an 89 percent reduction in oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and a 98 percent cut in particulate matter (PM).

On World Water Day (March 22), here’s a look at seven ways Cummins is working to conserve and protect this critical natural resource and educate future generations about its importance.
