Black History Month, celebrated annually in the United States and Canada throughout the month of February, is a time for recognizing the central role of African-Americans in history. At Cummins, it's also about highlighting the significance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. In honor of Black History month, several Cummins employees were invited to share their personal stories on the blog over at the Cummins Careers website, helping others understand what the month represents, as well as the importance of an inclusive workplace.

Last month, Cummins announced additional details surrounding Connected Diagnostics™, the first application within the Connected Solutions suite that has been designed to work seamlessly with leading telematics providers.

Cummins Inc. offers a range of turbochargers to support a wide variety of engine requirements used in countless applications. 

2023 has proven to be another exciting year for Cummins Inc. and its Engine Business Unit (EBU) team with the numerous milestones and product launches announced throughout the year. EBU is the core of the company’s five business segments which designs and manufactures state-of-the-art diesel, natural gas and other engines for on-highway and off-highway use. 

What is renewable natural gas?  Renewable natural gas (RNG) differs from fossil fuels as it's produced from various types of waste, like used cooking oil, animal waste, sludge from wastewater, manure and other waste materials. As these biodegradable materials decompose, methane is released. This methane is captured and converted into RNG. 

Today, global power technology leader Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) announced a $580 million project to drive economic and job growth in the Nash County community. Cummins has received approval for tax incentives to help move the project forward and the incentives received from the Nash County Commissioners office will support the continued investment within the area.
