A 40-year-old CTM El Risco water extraction plant in Mexico Federal District needed a refit to cope with flooding in the rainy season. Cummins G-Drive provided the standby power required through Cummins Spain dealer Progener as part of an overall project run by Spanish company INDAR.

Purpose: Prime power for ShenZhen’s customer, Noell Crane Systems (China) Ltd.
ShenZhen Superwatt Power Co. Ltd is one of China’s largest generator set manufacturers. Its customer, Noell Crane Systems (China) Ltd, needed diesel engines to provide prime power for its dockside cranes. ShenZhen Superwatt looked to Cummins G-Drive engines to provide the solution.

Cummins today announced a Euro VI technology achievement by reaching a total of 2,000 hybrid-adapted engine installations in buses operating across Europe, making a major contribution to improving air quality and reducing the carbon footprint. Cummins ‘H’ versions of the B4.5 and B6.7 are specially configured to integrate with the hybrid driveline and provide a seamless Stop/Start function for the vehicle to save up to 12 percent fuel consumption.
As the UK bus market moves to a cleaner, low emissions environment with an increasing Euro VI engine population, Cummins has responded by aligning its aftermarket capability to meet these changing customer needs by introducing factory remanufactured Euro VI engines to extend vehicle life with a lower total cost of ownership. The Cummins support network has also been significantly enhanced with an expanded fleet of over 200 service vehicles providing a faster response to help improve uptime availability for UK bus operators.
Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) today reported results for the third quarter of 2018.
Third quarter revenues of $5.9 billion increased 12 percent from the same quarter in 2017. The Company delivered growth in most major markets as demand for trucks, construction, and power generation equipment all improved. Currency negatively impacted revenues by 1 percent, primarily due to a weaker Brazilian Real.
Sales in North America improved by 17 percent while international revenues increased by 6 percent led by growth in India, China, Latin America, and Europe.
Cummins’ power generation manufacturing plants in Phaltan, India, and Wuhan, China are two such examples where supply chain improvements have been met with great results.
