The L9 is built on the proven Euro VI base engine architecture, with defense-focused enhancements designed to deliver high power density, reliability and operational versatility for demanding military applications.
Rated up to 544 hp and 1900 Nm of torque, the engine provides consistent performance for tactical vehicles, logistics platforms and mission-critical applications that require strength, durability and seamless integration. The engine configuration includes an HE500VG turbo, High Flow XPI injectors, new wiring harness, CM2450 engine control module with enhanced cybersecurity, and has the capability to operate on military fuels such as JP8 and NATO F-52, F54. By combining off-the-shelf technology, rigorous validation testing and advanced powertrain integration, the L9 reinforces Cummins’ expertise in dependable, efficient and mission-ready power solutions.

The Cummins V903 brings together proven V-8 architecture, decades of U.S. Army service and next-generation performance for demanding defense applications. Delivering up to 760 horsepower, the V903 offers high power-to-weight and power-to-size ratios, reliable operation in harsh environments and built-in upgrade potential for future performance needs. Battle-verified, hybrid-ready and designed for mission-critical mobility, the V903 is engineered to power today’s defense platforms while supporting tomorrow’s modernization requirements.

Transfer Cases
The Meritor MTC-3109 (RTC-60) Transfer Case is engineered to deliver optimum mobility, durability and integration flexibility for demanding defense and heavy-duty applications. Designed for remote- and direct-mount configurations across a wide range of main transmissions, the MTC-3109 combines a lightweight aluminum housing that supports increased payload with a robust architecture built for reliable operation in harsh conditions. With 3,500 RPM speed capability, 12,500 Nm input torque and available 1:1 and 1.09:1 ratios, it provides a compact, mission-ready drivetrain solution that helps enhance vehicle performance, maneuverability and operational readiness across tactical and off-highway platforms.

The 3400 Series ProTec™ Independent Suspension Axle System (ISAS®) is designed to deliver the critical balance of payload, performance and protection required for tactical wheeled military vehicles and armored platforms. Combining lightweight materials, modular architecture and extensive military vehicle experience, ProTec ISAS helps maximize payload capacity for added armor protection while enhancing maneuverability, durability and off-road mobility in demanding combat environments. With up to 15,400 lbs. GAWR, up to 38 degrees of steering angle, 11.8 inches of independent wheel travel, ABS compatibility, CTIS readiness and driver-controlled differential lock options, the 3400 Series ProTec ISAS provides a flexible, mission-ready foundation for platforms that require strength, survivability and superior mobility.
