From her early days as a co-op student to her current role leading a Technical Sourcing team, Loriann’s journey is a testament to the opportunities and growth that Cummins offers.

Addressing water security is one of Cummins Inc.’s global strategic programs that continues to gain momentum as it impacts communities around the world. Cummins is pleased to announce, through Cummins Water Works (CWW) and its latest alliance with the China Women’s Development Foundation (CWDF), an extensive project plan is underway to improve water security across five regions in China.

“Engineering is like looking for patterns of information and making sense out of them—like a giant puzzle,” says Jessica. Jessica began her career with Cummins Inc. as an intern in 1997 and has been going strong ever since. Whether she is piecing together a complex engineering challenge, or uniting a team around a shared goal, she has a talent for understanding how things fit together. Today, Jessica works within the Product Compliance and Regulatory Affairs (PCRA) group as Director of Technical Compliance and Certification on the Global Functional Excellence Team.

For Cummins Inc. and its employees, February highlighted a full month of celebratory events recognizing Black History Month 2024 taking place at its locations throughout the U.S. This year’s theme was “African Americans and the Arts” and Cummins Black Network (CBN), one of Cummins’ 150 Employee Resource Groups, didn’t miss a beat in planning and delivering exciting activities. From art shows to health panels to open mics and more, employees came together, both physically and virtually, to interact, share and learn more about the impact made in our world by African Americans.
