Cummins was among 571 businesses receiving perfect scores as part of the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The index was released last week by a foundation affiliated with the HRC. “The top-scoring companies on this year’s CEI are not only establishing policies that affirm and include employees here in the United States, they are applying these policies to their global operations and impacting millions of people beyond our shores,” said HRC President Chad Griffin. 

On National Women in Engineering Day, held June 23 in the United Kingdom, employees from Cummins Power Generation (CPG) stayed busy by working across sites in Kent, Peterborough and Stamford, England in support of the Cummins Women in Technology (CWiT) forum, an initiative championed by Cummins’ Chief Technical Officer, John Wall. Their aim? To encourage careers in STEM and promote opportunities for women in engineering.
