Cummins Drivetrain & Braking Systems, a leading global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking, and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicles announces the new ProTec Independent Front Suspension (IFS) system, specifically designed for buses and coaches. As seen for the first time at the Busworld event (Brussels, 4-9 October 2025, stand 810), the new product is designed to be a “drop-in” replacement for existing suspensions with an important focus on the ease of use and service. It enables Cummins to offer a complete driveline solution for axles and brakes to this key market.

Tom’s journey began 18.5 years ago when he was working for a small Cummins dealer. “I started doing minor work on Cummins engines and fell in love with the product,” he recalls. That passion led him to pursue a career at Cummins.
