Each day, Shivani Khosla has the challenge of telling a story through big data. Khosla's career at Cummins began 8 years ago as a supplier in the Electronic Tools department. The experience that Shivani Khosla gained early on in her career has directly impacted her success in one of Cummins newest departments, Cummins Digital Accelerator.
Tony Satterthwaite, President of the Distribution segment at the company, said a diversity of fuels, including diesel, natural gas, electrified power and developing technologies such as hydrogen fuel cells, give customers the chance to pick what works best for their circumstances (you can watch Tony's testimony here).

In winning the award, Cummins joins an illustrious group, including Eli Lilly and Company, Coca-Cola, the Arizona Diamondbacks Major League Baseball team and Oklahoma State University. Kelley Bertoux Creveling of Cummins accepted the award during the AAAED’s annual conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 12.
On Fortune’s list of the 500 largest U.S. companies ranked by total revenue, Cummins rose from No. 149 in 2018 to No. 128 in 2019, an increase of 21 places. In Forbes magazine’s Global 2000 ranking of the world’s largest public companies, Cummins saw an increase from No. 604 to No. 485, a jump of 119 places.
In 2009, Cummins was No. 181 in the Fortune 500. The company finished higher than No. 500 for the first time on the Forbes’ Global 2000 list.
Powering Hardi’s self-propelled sprayer range, the B4.5, B6.7 and L9 Performance Series engines bring more machine capability, increased fuel efficiency, more productivity and lower total cost of ownership to Hardi sprayer operators, while the simpler architecture and EGR-free design gives Hardi packaging flexibility.

Last summer, the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and Cummins Inc. teamed up to launch the Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK) program in the Greater Twin Cities area of Minnesota. After such a catastrophic wildfire, changes were made in the state of California. Regulators now allow utility companies to turn off power to thousands of homes when the wildfire risk is high. Beginning this summer, California utility companies are implementing a wildfire prevention plan that will leave 5.4 million Northern Californians without power for an undetermined amount of time whenever there are high wind conditions, and power will not be restored to these areas until they feel the wind has subsided.
