The trucking industry is moving towards cleaner, more efficient engines – and the Cummins X15N™ natural gas engine is a big step in that direction. This article explores the X15N’s new features and improvements that were developed based on customer feedback and experiences with the 12-liter ISX12N™, our first natural gas engine designed for use in class 8 trucks. The NEW Water wastewater treatment facility chose Cummins, after violent rainstorms left them without power for hours at a time, and two natural gas generator sets, and a DMC8000 Digital Master Control System was installed to ensure the facility continued to run smoothly through unpredictable weather conditions.

To support the expansion of the water treatment plant, located in Oman, Cummins installed five generator sets, including the first QSK95 in the country, to power the Treated Effluent Substation, biological treatment plant and central pumping station.
