Remote Monitoring and Control

PowerCommand’s remote monitoring system provides a convenient way to observe generator sets, transfer switches and auxiliary power system components.

Whether power system operators are within the data center or off-site, Cummins has remote monitoring and control capabilities built into our PowerCommand® control system. This enables visibility to power system performance and makes it is easily available to anyone through a Web browser via intranet or the Internet.

Approved end users can securely access the remote monitoring interface via Web browser, requiring only a computer, tablet or Web-enabled device; no additional software installation is required. In addition, the remote monitoring system allows multiple users to monitor the power system equipment simultaneously.

End users can monitor generator set performance criteria such as engine data, alternator data and control system status, as well as transfer switch connection status — source availability, source data and source connected – and load level, if available. Optional input/output (I/O) devices are available to further extend monitoring capabilities.
