Its inline-6 configuration offers up to 800 horsepower (597 kilowatts), an excellent lightweight choice for high load factors. With full-authority electronic controls that provide complete engine monitoring, automatic adjustment for peak performance and fuel efficiency, plus full diagnostics and prognostics.
Cummins QSK23 delivers the power and performance of a 12-cylinder engine in a compact, in-line 6-cylinder design. Released specifically for the rail engine market, the QSK23 delivers increased durability and reliability with a lower total life-cycle cost than that of comparable engines.
Every major system and component is designed by Cummins to work as part of an integrated unit, setting unbeatable standards in rail diesel productivity. Ratings range from 860 hp to 950 hp (641-708 kW) in locomotive and track machinery. The QSK23 delivers auxiliary power up to 600 kVA at 50 Hz.
The Cummins B3.3 engine brings toughness and reliability to every piece of equipment it powers, from tractors to irrigation pumps. Its in-line 4-cylinder design has a compact footprint for easy installation. With ratings from 60 hp (45kW) to 85 hp (63kW) Cummins in-cylinder solution meets Tier 3 and Stage IIIA emissions or Tier 4 Interim emissions below 75 hp (56kW) with both naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions that deliver strong performance. Single-sided maintenance is just one of many standard features and options that let you customize your B3.3.
