The Meritor® 17XS offers next generation efficiency for bus & coach applications. It is the most efficient Class 8 single axle in our rear drive axle line-up and is designed for demanding duties, carrying heavy loads with multiple stop & start.
The QSC meets Tier 3 and Stage IIIA emissions standards, by using in-cylinder technology, a simple and cost-effective solution that maintains the proven performance, dependability and durability of the QSC while operating cleanly and efficiently.
Cummins QSC engines are built on one of the world's most successful - and durable - engine block designs. In fact, there are over three quarters of a million in use around the globe every day.

Better. In Every Dimension.
The 2.8-liter QSF delivers performance at 74 hp (55 kW), which is comparable to that provided by larger engines up to 3.6 liters, in an envelope size that’s similar to 2.2-liter engines used at 49 hp (37 kW). High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel injection, together with full-authority electronic controls and a Cummins wastegated turbocharger, combine to deliver a very impressive peak torque of 221 lb-ft (300 N•m).
The new QSG12 brings a major advantage for Tier 4 Final and Stage IV equipment installations by restoring the envelope size of the QSM11 predecessor, used for Tier 3 and Stage IIIA applications. Higher efficiency air handling and advanced combustion enable the QSG12 to return to the simplicity of a wastegated turbocharger and achieve near-zero emissions without the need for a cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system.

The Cummins B3.3 engine brings toughness and reliability to every piece of equipment it powers, from tractors to irrigation pumps. Its in-line 4-cylinder design has a compact footprint for easy installation. With ratings from 60 hp (45kW) to 85 hp (63kW) Cummins in-cylinder solution meets Tier 3 and Stage IIIA emissions or Tier 4 Interim emissions below 75 hp (56kW) with both naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions that deliver strong performance. Single-sided maintenance is just one of many standard features and options that let you customize your B3.3.
The QSK19 with Modular Common Rail Fuel System (MCRS) is one of the first engines in the all-new Quantum Series from Cummins with innovative technology that delivers more for less.
The QSK19 with MCRS offers more power, more torque and higher durability, all while achieving lower fuel consumption, lower emissions and less servicing. Life cycle costs are significantly reduced, and with a highly advanced electronic management system, the engine sets unbeatable standards in rail diesel productivity.
