After building its 5 millionth engine, Cummins Inc.’s Rocky Mount Engine Plant (RMEP) is continuing its long history of innovation in engine technology and manufacturing. The next stop? Building fuel-agnostic engines in their VPI Lab.

Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI), a global power solutions provider and Terex® Advance, leading manufacturer of front-discharge concrete mixer trucks, announced today the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) to integrate Cummins’ X15H hydrogen internal combustion engines into the Terex Advance Commander Series. 

Cummins will hold ride-and-drives at MATS on March 23, 24 and 25, with the latest 2017 X15 Efficiency Series and X15 Performance Series engines hauling fully loaded trailers on an interstate loop. Drivers will get a real-world feel for the smooth acceleration, tremendous pulling power and exceptional fuel efficiency that Cummins X15 engines deliver – with zero compromises. Reservations for specific driving times will be coordinated by Cummins representatives in Cummins Booth 30025 at the show.

Manoj Nair, Power Generation Business Leader, Cummins, and Rahul Seth, Managing Director, Sudhir Power Ltd., unveiled the genset range during an exclusive product reveal event attended by over 100 customers and company officials in Gurugram, Haryana.

Greek passenger vessel repowers with Cummins.  Cruising to Symi on a water taxi is more than a boat ride across the Aegean Sea. Departing the eastern shore of the Greek mainland, passengers feel the wind in their hair and magic in the air approaching the world’s most incredible, secluded beaches nestled away on remote islands accessible only by boat.

Trophy fish are measured by weight and length at the dock. They almost always exceed the size of the angler reeling them in. The exception would be M/V Chelsea Rae, whose fish tale about five-year-old angler prodigy, Wyatt Goodwin, catching the big ones, is true. Wyatt’s ride is a new 37-foot APB Custom Blackfin, recertified by the Coast Guard as a new build in 2022. Wyatt’s father, Nate Goodwin, president of All Points Boats (APB), personally refit this hurricane-salvaged vessel, a 32-foot 1982 vintage Blackfin.

Cummins Inc. employee volunteers recently welcomed students at the Shoreview, Minn. (U.S.) facility for an exciting week of learning. Through the Cummins Foundation, a grant was provided to Project Scientist, a national non-profit that helps girls ages 4-18 learn about careers in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM).
