Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) announced today approval of their entire line of diesel high horsepower engines across all ratings for use with unblended paraffinic fuels (EN15940), often referred to as renewable diesel, including hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO). Utilizing renewable diesels like HVO are shown to reduce net greenhouse gas (GHG) emission by up to 90% compared to conventional diesel, dependent on the exact feedstock and fuel pathway. 

Cummins Guidanz™ – a new free mobile app operating through a Wi-Fi or a cellular connection – allows customers to quickly read engine fault codes on Tier 3 and later engines when paired with the new Bluetooth®-enabled INLINE™ mini-Vehicle Data Link Adapter, or INLINE 7 using Bluetooth mode.

Today, Cummins Inc (NYSE: CMI) announced that Tracy Embree, Cummins Vice President and President of the Distribution Business, is leaving Cummins on September 8 to pursue an external opportunity. Tracy served in a variety of leadership roles during her distinguished 23-year career at Cummins.

Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) has posted its 20th annual Sustainability Progress Report, disclosing reductions in greenhouse gases (GHGs) and water consumption while establishing the foundation for progress on other 2030 environmental goals.

Cummins Inc. has released a new predictive model for the X15 heavy-duty engine, allowing owners to be alerted when a diesel particulate filter (DPF) differential pressure (DP) sensor is likely to fail.  Customers will be given a Predictive Service Insight up to 90 days ahead of the potential failure of their DPF DP sensor and allows them to proactively schedule a replacement, avoiding unnecessary downtime.
