Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) and Chevron U.S.A. Inc., a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX), announced a memorandum of understanding to leverage complementary positioning in hydrogen, natural gas and other lower carbon fuel value chains. The announcement expands the two companies’ previous strategic collaboration on hydrogen and renewable natural gas and is expected to encompass other liquid renewable fuels, such as renewable gasoline blends, biodiesel and renewable diesel. This collaboration is intended to encourage commercial and industrial adoption in North America.

To complete 640 successful customer installations since then is a major achievement by our engineering team, and highlights our capability in this area. We invested heavily in our products and our application support work with our OEMs around the world, not just in North America and Europe, but also in South Korea, China and Japan,” said Hugh Foden, Executive Director – Cummins Off-Highway Business.

Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) and Taylor Machine Works Inc., a leading American manufacturer of heavy industrial lift equipment, announced a signed letter of intent with plans to integrate the Cummins 6.7-liter and 15-liter hydrogen engines into the Taylor product line. This collaboration will help realize the decarbonization goals of industrial steel, wood products, concrete, oil and gas, and port operations markets.

“These new products are powered by Cummins QSJ5.9G engine, which is based on the legendary Cummins 6B5.9 engine, using spark-ignited lean-burn technology. It meets exhaust emissions requirements without the need for aftertreatment,” said Mark Westphal, Technical Project Leader. The generators come with a wide range of features, including the Cummins user-friendly PowerCommand® 1.1 control, which offers current and power metering; an exerciser function, for improved dependability; and electronic overcurrent protection for enhanced reliability.

Crews with no choice but to head out to sea in rough weather conditions rely on trawlers' inherently robust, stout design based on the DNA of highly capable fishing boats. Characterized by a bow with high guard rails to protect the owner and crew on deck, trawlers are built with long-range cruising ability at an average speed under 10 knots.

Patricia is from a big family. She’s the thirteenth of thirteen children who grew up in Brownsville, Tenn. (U.S.). “It’s where Tina Turner grew up,” Patricia says with pride. An accounting major at the University of Memphis, Patricia first heard about Cummins Inc. through a community involvement event with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta.
