Located in the sprawling farmland of northern Indiana, aviation business Agriflite provides aerial agriculture applications to farmers through a small fleet of planes. Especially busy during the growing season to provide crop dusting, Agriflite needs uninterrupted power to communicate with their planes and to keep business off the ground. In the year before the backup generator was installed, the power went out twice.

Cummins is quickly making our mark on the great north as we traveled with our five-truck fleet through Ohio, Michigan, and made our first foray outside of the US into Canada. The Redefining Tour stopped just outside of Canada’s largest city, Toronto, in Mississauga at the Cummins Eastern Canada distributorship. It was a great few days spent in the area last week connecting with customers and showcasing what we have available today and in store for the future!

Imagine this: you’ve just arrived at what appears to be the picture-perfect spot to camp. Only a few little tasks separate you from the ideal weekend out in nature. Of course, you’ve got to take care of a couple things before you can fully relax. So you set up your tent and grab some firewood. Now, your plan was never to fully “rough it,” since you prefer having things like music to listen to, some lights to make the campsite feel more like home, and so on.

Embarking on his Cummins Inc. journey in Aug. 2022, Chad W. stepped into the role of project manager for the aftermarket team within the Cummins Meritor team in Florence, Kentucky (U.S.). Leveraging resources such as LinkedIn, his military network, and personal relationships, Chad strategically pursued job opportunities following his military service. A recommendation from a former Meritor HR representative opened doors to various roles within the company, ultimately leading him to his current position.

Today, Cummins Power Generation launched two new models of generator sets as a continuum of their award-winning CentumTM Series powered by Cummins Inc.’s robust QSK78 engine.

City officials in Xiangyang, China, which recently suffered a severe drought, have been concerned with the scarcity of water. Cummins China, CXCMC, chose to focus on the region for a 2014 Environmental Challenge Project.

Cummins Inc. is updating the digital service tool names within the Guidanz® suite of products, making it easier for customers to quickly identify solutions, boost efficiency and increase productivity. This change will ultimately position Guidanz as the preferred digital solution for servicing Cummins-powered equipment.

What once took shape as science fiction concept in books and movies, now riddles its way into day-to-day life: the Internet of Things (IoT). In the Internet’s short history, technology has leapt from clunky computers to wearable technologies like the iWatch, creating the web of connected “things.” These ever-changing technologies not only bemuse the modern world but also give promise of a longer life filled with conveniences. With each connected thing, the IoT technologies collect and communicate data—lots and lots of data.
