Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) has announced the launch of a new upgraded 60 Hz natural gas generator set, powered by an 18-cylinder multi-turbo natural gas engine, as part of its 91-liter gas product range. The new model series offers higher power up to 2,000 kW at low emissions down to 0.5g/hp-h NOx without aftertreatment, in addition to meeting the transient requirements of ISO 8528-5 G1.
The leader of Cummins’ Electrified Power business said this week customers are best served by a company offering a broad portfolio of products so they can choose the power solution that works best for them.

The goals of this initiative are to attract, develop, and retain technical women at all levels and in all regions, and to have technical women equally represented across all levels of leadership.
Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) has been awarded Heavy-Duty Trucking’s Top 20 award for its X12 engine platform, to be available this year. This award signifies the innovation that delivers the lightest heavy-duty engine in North America.
The engine weight of just 2,050 lbs was achieved by eliminating unnecessary mass without compromising performance. Delivering up to 500 hp (373 kW), the X12 has the highest power-to-weight ratio of any heavy-duty engine from 10 liters to 16 liters in size.
