The turbocharger engineering firm has been named Company of the Year and Engine Test Facility of the Year in the annual Automotive Testing Technology awards, which is a non-profit-making enterprise designed to highlight and reward the efforts of individuals and companies who have made a difference in the world of vehicle development.

The extensive range, set to make its European debut at INTERMAT (20-25 April 2015), provides robust flexible solutions for the off-highway sector. The launch will allow Cummins Turbo Technologies to bring to market the most efficient turbochargers in the heavy duty range with new technologies capable of improving overall turbocharger efficiency by up to 10%.*

The Holset turbocharger was designed and tested at Cummins Turbo Technologies European Technical Centre in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The testing verified the durability of the product, to meet many differing duty cycles including that of a city bus. This testing also achieved excellent results in performance, quality, and safety.

The launch will allow Cummins Turbo Technologies to bring to market the most efficient turbochargers in this range with new technologies capable of improving overall turbocharger efficiency of a typical application by up to 10%. The announcement, being made at CONEXPO 2014, follows the company’s unveiling of a range of products for the off-highway market earlier this year at BAUMA 2013, and marks its continued commitment to the sector.

Stand NCS3, Big Bang Fair 2013, 14-17 March 2013 Seven challenges have been set, all relating to different divisions within Cummins (including Cummins Engine Business, Cummins Turbo Technologies, Cummins Emission Solutions and Cummins Power Generation). From assembling a fuel system to learning how a turbocharger works, students visiting the stand will see first-hand how the tasks – which show the basic principles behind a number of automotive technologies - relate to their everyday lives.

The next generation Two-Stage System with Rotary Turbine Control (RTC) is Cummins’ most sophisticated turbocharger to date, delivering high efficiency, excellent driveability and low emissions levels. This pioneering integrated technology was developed in partnership with Cummins Engine Business and Nissan, specifically for use on the 2016 Nissan TITAN XD pickup truck.
