Cummins has been named again to the North American Index of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, one of the leading independent measures of corporate sustainability in the world.
The company was one of fewer than 150 corporations to make the North American list in 2016. It has made the index every year since 2006.

Today, Cummins formally announced the long-awaited crate engine program called Cummins Repower™ as a means of offering brand new engines from the factory direct to the consumer market.

The 800-employee facility produces Cummins’ QSK95, the largest high speed diesel engine in the world. The company has invested about $500 million to launch the engine, and just over two-thirds will be shipped outside the United States.

In January 2017, Cummins will open its Distribution Business Unit (Cummins employees commonly refer to the business unit as simply ''DBU") headquarters in downtown Indianapolis. Tony Satterthwaite is the President of this division within Cummins. The DBU is comprised of thousands of sales and service operations around the world.
