Tabatha has always been a natural caregiver and — though it was not straightforward — followed a career path that allowed her to share this gift. After starting college on a nursing track, Tabatha soon realized she was “far too emotional for that” and changed her major to business. Then, life happened.
“When I was 23, my mother passed away, leaving my seven-year-old sister behind,” Tabatha says. “My husband and I had only been married for six months at the time, but we gained custody of my sister, so things got real, fast.”
Teaming up from across the state, Cummins employees enthusiastically gathered last weekend to participate in the Indiana Sports Corp Corporate Challenge 2023. Held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with the good fortune of having amazing weather, the fun day of activities and friendly competition included a variety of events like cycling, running, football toss and more. The Cummins cycling team even earned a 1st place finish in its division!
When Rahul was eight years old, he had an electrifying epiphany.
“During the summers, my cousins and I would go to our grandma’s house in India. Our schools always assigned a summer project, and one of my older cousins decided to build a small-scale wind turbine for his,” Rahul says.
His cousin bought all the parts, set up the system and created a generator. When it was completed, curiosity got the best of Rahul — a mischievous eight-year-old who couldn’t help himself.
