For Jeff Michaels his work and passion for racing are inseparable. Jeff, is a Regional Sales Manager of commercial mobile generator sets for Onan. Majority of his time is spent in the office at Onan, working with distributors and factories to ensure the appropriate solutions are being used for RVs, yachts, truck conversions and more. During his free time you can see him at a track either racing or helping his son.
Mark Levett, Vice President of Corporate Responsibility and CEO of the Cummins Foundation, will retire Nov. 30 after serving in a variety of key leadership positions during his 42 years with the company.
After joining Cummins as an entry level analyst in 1973, Levett used his business expertise, his strong work ethic and his skills to quickly rise through the company and by 1981, Levett had already become a Vice President with Cummins.
COLUMBUS, Ind. – Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI) announced today that the company has been named to the 2015 Dow Jones North American Sustainability Index for the 10th consecutive year.
The index, part of the global Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, identifies the leading companies for sustainability worldwide. The North American list includes the top 20 percent of the 600 largest Canadian and U.S. companies based on their sustainable practices. The indices are used by investors who want sustainability to be part of their investment strategy.
A New Era in Research and Development
Cummins today celebrated the opening of the new Seymour Technical Center, a global tech center office for the High-Horsepower Engine Business in Seymour, Indiana.
The center is co-located with the Seymour Engine Plant in close proximity to 22 test cells dedicated to engine research and development work for mining, rail, oil and gas, marine, power generation and industrial applications.

Cummins today unveiled a revolutionary new system for its ISB engines that brings the fuel economy benefits of stop-start technology to conventional buses. The technology, which saves fuel by shutting down the engine when a vehicle is not moving, had only previously been available on far more expensive diesel-electric hybrid buses.
