This work-based learning program is designed to train and give students a head start in securing high-paying jobs in the diesel industry.

This is great news, yet introduces an unexpected challenge. In a given geographical area, newly installed solar and wind capacity will likely be producing electricity at the same time with the existing solar capacity. This can result in excess electricity from renewable sources during a certain time of the day, and no energy being produced when the sun isn’t shining, and the wind isn’t blowing. So, the challenge becomes how to capture and store this excess energy for future use.

The Cummins Foundation has made a grant to Eskenazi Health and Eskenazi Health Foundation to expand the work of the Gregory S. Fehribach Center (GSF Center). The GSF Center provides training and support for meaningful internships for Indiana college and university students with physical disabilities, empowering them to achieve gainful, equitable and sustainable employment.

Strengthening its product catalogue, CTT has revitalized the HE600 platform by delivering significant improvements on performance and durability. By combining years of engineering experience in turbine wheel and impeller design, overall turbocharger efficiency has increased more than four percent while offering a product that is more robust.

This year, Cummins celebrates 100 years in Power Generation. It all started with the incorporation of Onan Corporation in 1920 – a family owned business founded by David W. Onan.
