Engines
The Cummins B4.5 Euro VI delivers 112–157 kW (150–210 hp) and 650–850 Nm of torque, providing strong, efficient performance for bus applications. Its compact 4 cylinder design offers excellent power density and installation flexibility, while sharing core components with the wider B Series platform to simplify integration and parts management. With a VGT turbocharger, high pressure common rail fuel system, and Cummins designed DPF/SCR aftertreatment, the B4.5 meets Euro VI emissions standards while delivering reliable, low cost operation across demanding duty cycles.
The Cummins B6.7H hydrogen engine delivers 216kW (290 hp) of power and 1200 Nm of peak torque, offering diesel-like performance with zero-carbon hydrogen fuel for 9-10 metre coaches and transit bus applications. Its familiar design and high parts commonality with existing diesel and natural gas engines simplify integration and support efficient parts management for mixed-fuel fleets.
The Cummins L9N natural gas engine produces 280-320hp (209-239kW) of power and 1356 Nm of peak torque, perfect for city bus operators who want to achieve lower emission levels, but need the performance and reliability of natural gas power. This engine operates on CNG or LNG fuel with a lower carbon footprint than diesel and is fully compatible with renewable natural gas (RNG) or biogas, offering the option of significant well to wheels emissions reductions.
The Cummins X10 Euro 7 delivers 239–336 kW (320–450 hp) and up to 2299 Nm of torque, providing strong, efficient performance for coach and inter-urban bus applications. Its advanced combustion system, VGT turbocharger, and compact design support Euro 7 compliance while improving responsiveness, durability and overall fleet efficiency.
